Health Benefits of Banana and Blueberry

Unknowingly, the banana is one of the most healthful fruits the world has known.  Alexander the Great became so interested in the virtues of this fruit that he defined it as “the heavenly fruit that tasted like nectar sweetened in honey.”


Blueberry


Blueberries are loaded with antioxidants. Antioxidants protect cells from oxidative stress — a process in which too many free radicals gather in the body and harm cells. Free radicals form through normal bodily processes like metabolizing food or from outside reasserts like pollution or sunlight


A 2012 study compared blackberries, blueberries, and strawberries and found that blueberries had the best antioxidant capacity.
